Reviews
"We loved every second of the Assembly thanks to the full sound of the Joe Claffy Orchestra. Your enthusiasm was contagious, your arrangements were sparkling, your band's musical discipline was notable, your vocals were sophisticated and varied, and most impressive of all, you made great music continuously for the entire time. This year was non-stop swinging... and so are you."

"The Pennsylvania Society of Sons of the Revolution hired the Joe Claffy Orchestra to play its annual George Washington's Birthday Ball in February 2022, a formal event held in Gladwyne, PA.
Joe's band kept the dance floor packed all night with a variety of music that was appealing to every age group / generation in our society. From two step foxtrots to classic mo-town to current pop music, their versatility and musicianship are unmatched. Our Society has many formalities and traditions which include great attention to detail from the bandleader, and he nailed it with aplomb. We couldn't be happier with our decision, and look forward to working with the Joe Claffy Orchestra for future events.

"When we were planning The Savoy Company's 120th Anniversary Gala we knew we needed an amazing band so of course we went straight to Joe. Our experience was fantastic. From communication ahead of time around logistics and music selection, to day-of set up, Joe was professional, thoughtful and easy to work with. But most importantly, he and his musicians ROCKED! They played crowd favorites, mixed up fast and slow, read the mood and kept everyone on the dance floor until the lights came up and we were firmly told our rental time was done. Afterwards our guests couldn't stop talking about how great the band was and how it made the evening so much more special (though I knew that would happen - guests are still talking about Joe and his band from my wedding 9 years ago). We would hire them again in an instant!"

"Thank you for bringing such great music into our lives. Your performance for our Carlyle Evening gave us a party for the ages. Nancy and I are still glowing; friends are still raving about it. And last night you came through again, despite losing your singer, and piano-melting conditions. Sarah and David had the party of their dreams: you enticed son Jonathan to perform for them for the first time ever! I look forward to making lots more music with you."
